Patronising Windows 7 adverts.

Can I have my 7 seconds back?

Last night was one of the rare few times that I have watched TV lately, as suspected I didn’t really enjoy it. Not only were there way too many adverts but, some of the most annoying adverts I have seen in recent months. Specifically Microsoft’s Windows 7 in 7 seconds adverts, seriously they are probably the most patronising thing on TV I have seen .

YouTube Preview Image Here is one of the 7 second ads I am talking about and this one is one of the less annoying ones.

I’m a PC and I use Linux.

I actually paid for a copy of Windows 7, I used it for about a week and binned it. Maybe it is just me but most of the features they are repetitively telling us about are not that special when it comes down to it. Oh and maybe trying to sell your product by talking to people like they are idiots (even though I understand most people are) is not the best way. Surely the idea is I want to buy what you’re selling after seeing your advert, not feeling patronised.
